St. Oliver Post Primary School boasts a unique location on the borders of three counties, these being Meath, Cavan and Westmeath.  Consequently, the school population is made up of students from all three counties. The school community and campus has grown substantially in recent years – we currently have an enrolment of 550 pupils.

St. Oliver Post Primary School is committed to quality education. We seek to enrich students’ lives and empower them for life’s many challenges. This is done in a caring atmosphere of good order and discipline and in partnership with parents.  In our daily life we value the principles of justice, mutual respect, equality and tolerance, leading to the promotion of a positive self-image and the confidence to achieve the highest standards.

St Oliver Post Primary School is built around 3 important pillars.  We aim to:

  1. Nurture students through our pro-active pastoral care programme
  2. Enrich students through our extra-curricular programme
  3. Challenge pupils to achieve academic excellence in all subject areas
