New Youthreach Centre Coming to Ardee

June 15, 2016

Louth and Meath Education and Training Board is delighted to announce Ardee Youthreach, a new Centre of Education for young people aged 15 – 20 who have left school without completing their second level qualifications. The centre will open in September 2016 in the heart of Ardee town in Co. Louth.

Youthreach is a Department of Education and Skills official education, training and work experience programme for early school leavers aged 15 – 20. It offers young people the opportunity to identify options within adult life, and provides them with opportunities to acquire certification. After Youthreach young people can go on to further education, apply for apprenticeships or confidently enter the world of work.

So if you live in the mid-Louth area and can answer “yes” to the following questions, please get in contact with the Co-ordinator, Stephen McArdle, on 086 8222 700.

  • Are you aged between 15 and 20?
  • Have you left mainstream school early?
  • Do you want to further your education?
  • Are you willing to embrace and commit to a challenging and exciting opportunity?

You can also contact the centre via email (smcardle@lmetb.ie), Facebook (www.facebook.com/ArdeeYouthreach) or Twitter (@ArdeeYouthreach).

We look forward to hearing from you.
