BTEI Meath

The Back to Education Initiative provides part-time Further Education programmes for young people over 16 and adults in Navan, Trim, Kells, Athboy, Ashbourne, East Meath and other community locations.

The aim is to give people an opportunity to combine a return to learning with family, work and other responsibilities.

Search for a Course

Further Education and Training or FET, offers a wide variety of life-long education options to anyone over 18. FET includes apprenticeships, traineeships, Post Leaving Cert (PLC) courses, community and adult education as well as basic literacy and numeracy services. FET courses and programmes are provided through the Education and Training Board network throughout the country as well as through other local providers including online through SOLAS’ eCollege. FET courses are provided at levels one to six on the National Qualifications Framework.

Hairdressing Courses in Kells

Exploring a Career in Hairdressing (QQI Level 3)

Aimed at learners who have an interest in working in the hairdressing area. Classes take place in our new modern Training Salon. It will enable you to progress to the QQI Level 5.

Hairdressing (QQI Level 5)

Aimed at learners wanting to work in the hairdressing industry. Priority given to those who completed Level 3 Hairdressing. Progression available to work, higher levels and further study.

A Drop-In Educational Information Service for Adults is open in LMETB Alpha Centre, Abbey Road, Navan every Tuesday between 9.30am – 12.30 pm or Thursday 2.30 – 4.30pm.

No appointment necessary.
