The service is available to all adults and for persons aged 16 + who are not in full-time schooling

This service provides opportunities for persons who left school early/missed out on opportunities when younger

The Adult Guidance Service offers the following services

One to one guidance and information sessions

Group guidance and information sessions

Drop in facilities – online and job seeking skills

CAO/PLC information and submission workshops

College interview preparation workshops

Study skills, writing techniques preparation for college

Search for a Course

Further Education and Training or FET, offers a wide variety of life-long education options to anyone over 18. FET includes apprenticeships, traineeships, Post Leaving Cert (PLC) courses, community and adult education as well as basic literacy and numeracy services. FET courses and programmes are provided through the Education and Training Board network throughout the country as well as through other local providers including online through SOLAS’ eCollege. FET courses are provided at levels one to six on the National Qualifications Framework.
